The above equations and calculations are supplied only as a
guide for the designer. In practical terms other factors will must
be considered, including the following:
S Effective required voltage adjustment range of output
S Losses in the primary side of the circuit, including the sense
resistor and the MOSFET voltage drops
S Losses in the secondary side of the circuit, including dc
losses in the output choke
S Forward voltage of the rectifier over load and temperature
S Interconnection losses, including remote sense drops
S OR-ing diode losses, if used in multiple converters.
