CRYSTAL INTERFACE

The ICS84330-01 has been characterized with 18pF parallel

resonant crystals. The external tuning capacitors C1 and C2

are not required if an 18pF parallel resonant crystal is used. If

there is space available, it is recommended to provide spare

footprints C1 and C2 (size 0603 or 0402) while laying out the

P.C. Board. These footprints provide option of optimizing fre-

quency accuracy if needed.
