Memory structure

The SRTAG2KL supports the NDEF Tag Application as defined in the NFC Forum Type 4

Tag. The SRTAG2KL is composed of three files:

• One Capability Container file

• One NDEF file

• One System file: this file is an ST-proprietary file

The System file contains some information on the configuration of the SRTAG2KL device.

The CC file gives some information about the SRTAG2KL itself and the NDEF file. The

NDEF file contains the User data.

The file identifier is the value used in the Select command to select a file.

CC file layout

The CC file gives some information about the SRTAG2KL and the NDEF file. This file is a

read-only file for the RF host and cannot be modified by issuing a write command.

The T field, Read Access and Write Access fields can be changed by the RF host by issuing

a specific process (refer to Section 7: Functional procedures).
