Cleaning
Probes should first be cleaned of all bio-burden, foreign
matter and or material with mild detergent and water
in order to improve the effectiveness of any disinfection
or sterilization.

Disinfection
A 70% isopropyl alcohol; a solution of
sodiumhypochlorite (bleach) diluted 1:10 minimum
in water, Cidex. After disinfecting, rinse the probes
thoroughly with sterile water.
Sterilization
Ethylene Oxide gas. Follow the recommended
procedure issued by the manufacturer of your gas
sterilizing chamber. Radiation sterilization is acceptable.
Termination
Right-angle molded three-pin stereo plug 0.25 in (6.35
mm) diameter
Storage and Handling
When not in use, store probes with cables loosely
coiled in a clean and dry location at normal room
temperature.
